With the increase in violent crimes occurring within the courthouses throughout the country, the Delaware Capitol Police is dedicated to providing the judicial branch with the ability to conduct their business without interruption in as safe an environment as possible.

The Delaware Capitol Police provides police services to the Supreme Court, Superior Court, Court of Common Pleas, Family Court, and Chancery Court in all three counties. Capitol Police provides services through the deployment of both sworn police officers, non-sworn security officers, utilizing magnetometers, x-ray machines, video surveillance, and controled access to secured areas.
